Introduction
1. Junior Achievement Bulgaria (hereinafter referred to as JA Bulgaria) is a leading organization with an established reputation in providing innovative and modern education from an early age to the university. The portfolio of educational products and services includes programs in 3 thematic areas: entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness skills. The business model of the organization is characterized by close cooperation with business and practitioners involved in the creation and provision of educational content, training and services, as well as in the development of policies in the field of entrepreneurship education.
The activity of JA Bulgaria is focused on the entire educational system and ensures continuity in the training of entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness skills, placing special emphasis on the use of new technologies in the educational process.
For schools and kindergartens JA Bulgaria offers:
- Own and adapted study materials - programs of JA Bulgaria in entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness skills
- Approved textbooks on technology and entrepreneurship, developed in partnership with publishers
- Training in accredited programs for raising the qualification of pedagogical specialists
- Methodological support of the network of partner schools
- Competitions, contests and trainings for students
- Access to an interactive online platform based on Moodle, through which the digital element of the training in the programs offered by JA Bulgaria is implemented
For universities JA Bulgaria provides the following through its subsidiary The Edge R&BD:
- Practical training of student startups to start their own business
- Opportunities to work with mentors and business professionals
- Participation in startup competitions
- Access to finance
- Access to an interactive online platform based on Moodle, through which the digital element of student startup training is implemented
- Financial literacy courses
To achieve these goals it is necessary to process personal data, which in its capacity as administrator JA Bulgaria collects, stores, processes and shares in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on protection of individuals in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation) and related laws and regulations in the Republic of Bulgaria.

2. Junior Achievement Bulgaria, UIC: 121305643, is a foundation operating in the public interest under the Law on Non-Profit Legal Entities, address: Sofia 1000, 54B Dondukov Blvd., 1st floor.
JA Bulgaria is a controller of personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation, the Personal Data Protection Act and related regulations and is committed to ensuring the security of personal data processed by it to individuals - students, teachers, university students, PhD students, candidates for work, teachers, employees, persons with whom it has contractual relations, as well as natural persons representing legal entities or natural persons traders within the meaning of the Commercial Law.
Definitions used
3.1. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject); an identifiable natural person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by an identifier such as name, identification number, location data, online identifier or one or more features specific to the natural, the physiological, genetic, mental, intellectual, economic, cultural or social identity of this natural person, according to Art. 4, item 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
3.2. Processing means any operation or set of operations carried out with personal data or a set of personal data by automatic or other means such as collecting, recording, organizing, structuring, storing, adapting or modifying, retrieving, consulting, using, disclosing, dissemination or other way in which the data becomes accessible, arrangement or combination, restriction, deletion or destruction, according to art. 4, item 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
Types of information collected
4. JA Bulgaria collects the following information related to:
a) the provision of educational and other services to pupils, teachers, students, doctoral students, university professors and all other persons listed above;
b) employment, civil and contractual relations to which JA Bulgaria is a party;
c) website, social media profiles and applications through which JA Bulgaria provides services.
Purposes and types of personal data processed
5.1. JA Bulgaria collects personal data for the following purposes:
a) the fulfillment of objectives assigned under the provisions of a contract;
b) conducting educational initiatives, programs, services and trainings;
c) maintaining contact and receiving feedback from participants in educational programs, initiatives, trainings, etc.
d) execution of orders for training materials received through the website www.jabulgaria.org;
e) dissemination of up-to-date information on the current activities of the organization through a newsletter;
f) issuance of certificates to participants in conducted trainings, seminars, workshops, educational programs, etc.;
g) exchange of contacts of participants in educational programs in order to form teams and maintain subsequent contact;
h) summarizing quantitative information in relation to the number of trained participants, number of settlements, number of schools, age, etc.;
i) registration of users of an interactive online platform based on Moodle, through which JA Bulgaria provides access to its digitalized learning materials.
5.2. The types of personal data processed are the following:
a) names identifying the individual as well as other data such as PIN, address provided by the person, e-mail, contact telephone number provided in connection with the completion of registration forms for participation in events, trainings, programs, seminars, etc., organized by JA Bulgaria in online or physical format. Registration forms are usually available on the website of JA Bulgaria, as well as on social networks, or can be accessed by clicking on a link in the newsletter distributed by email;
b) e-mail address provided for the purpose of subscribing to the regular newsletter of JA Bulgaria;
c) names, telephone number, e-mail in connection with participation in a specific project of JA Bulgaria;
d) names, PIN, address indicated by the person, e-mail, contact telephone number received in connection with the conclusion and implementation of employment, civil and contractual legal relations to which JA Bulgaria is a party;
e) bank account details in case of due payment by JA Bulgaria;
f) names, e-mails and telephone numbers in connection with the ordering of training materials from the JA Bulgaria website at https://www.jabulgaria.org through the "Shop" section;
g) names and PINs in case the person wishes to receive an invoice issued to a natural person when ordering training materials from the "Shop" section of the JA Bulgaria website at https://www.jabulgaria.org or by paying a participation fee in paid training organized by JA Bulgaria;
h) identification when creating a personal profile on the website of JA Bulgaria with address https://www.jabulgaria.org/, including names identifying the individual, gender, email address, telephone number, location, education;
i) identification when creating a profile on the Student Company Portal at http://company.jabulgaria.org/, including the names, gender, email addresses, telephone numbers, age and grade of the students participating in the training company;
j) identification when creating an account in the platform "Manager for a day" athttps://mfd.jabulgaria.org/, including names, email address, phone number, location, age, specialty studied by the applicants for participation in the initiative;
k) identification when creating an account in the Manager for a Day platform at https://mfd.jabulgaria.org/, including names, email address, telephone number, position for the representatives of the host companies participating in the initiative;
l) identification when creating a profile in the interactive online platform through which JA Bulgaria provides access to its digitized learning materials, including names, gender, email address, age, location, school / university, class / specialty;
m) photographic images and video recordings through which the individual can be identified during his / her participation in an educational event, program, training conducted by JA Bulgaria - the images are placed in photo albums and publications on social profiles and the website of JA Bulgaria;
n) JA Bulgaria may collect data on your Facebook profile in connection with the formation of Facebook groups for subsequent communication between participants after training, workshops, seminars, initiatives, etc.;
o) when logging in to our website or in your account, JA Bulgaria collects data on the IP address used in order to improve the security of the service, localize the interface and conduct statistical and marketing research.

Processing of personal data
6.1. The processing of personal data is done by:
a) filling in forms, applications, contracts, agreements, etc. in electronic or paper format in connection with participation in and submission of feedback for an educational program, event, project, initiative, training, etc., organized by JA Bulgaria;
b) processing of information on IP addresses and cookies;
c) updating data at the request of the data subject or at the request of JA Bulgaria in compliance with the requirements of applicable law or contractual obligations and filling in an update form on paper or in electronic format;
d) updating profile data on the JA Bulgaria website.
6.2. JA Bulgaria provides processed personal data to state bodies and institutions at their request, when this is in compliance with legal obligations.
6.3. JA Bulgaria may disclose processed personal data in fulfillment of contractual relations of operators providing universal postal service or part of it under the Postal Services Act, the companies that have developed and maintained the JA Bulgaria website, as well as providing hosting services for the same.
6.4. JA Bulgaria does not provide processed personal data of individuals to third parties without the express consent of the former, except in cases where contractual obligations under legal relations between JA Bulgaria and individuals are fulfilled.
6.5. JA Bulgaria stores processed personal data within the statutory deadlines or contractually determined ones.
6.6. JA Bulgaria does not collect or process personal data that reveal political, religious or philosophical beliefs, or membership in trade unions; as well as genetic and biometric data, health data or data on a person's sexual life or sexual orientation.
Rights of individuals in connection with the processed personal data
7.1. Right of access, including an extract from the processed personal data. The statement shall be provided after identification of the natural person to whom it relates. This information is provided free of charge.
7.2. Individuals have the right to request correction of this data if it contains incorrect or incomplete information.
7.3. Individuals have the right to request that the personal data provided be deleted if this does not comply with current Community law or is done on a ground that has lapsed (the right to be forgotten). The person has the right at any time to request that the processing of the provided personal data be stopped and that they be destroyed. JA Bulgaria has the right to continue the processing of personal data if there is a legal or valid contractual basis.
7.4. The exercise of the above rights is carried out by submitting a written application to JA Bulgaria at the following address: Sofia 1000, 54B Dondukov Blvd. The application is submitted in person or through a proxy. The content and signature of the power of attorney should be verified by a notary.
The application can also be submitted electronically with a qualified electronic signature at the following address: ja.administration@jabulgaria.org.
7.5. JA Bulgaria provides the requested information within a reasonable time depending on the content of the request, but not longer than 14 days. The information shall be sent in the manner specified in the request, by postal operator or by e-mail.
7.6. Data subjects may complain to a supervisory authority in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement if they consider that the processing of their personal data infringes the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. On the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, where the seat of JA Bulgaria is located, the supervisory body is the Commission for Personal Data Protection. Individuals also have the right to file a complaint with the competent court.
